As part of the main task, I had to research the magazine market to see what is currently in the market and what there isn’t as much as, e.g. jazz isn’t that popular when it comes to the genre of magazines but NME is very popular as it has modern music and events.

As you can see, the prices of magazines vary from £2.20 to £4.79, this is because they all come out at different time, some weekly and some monthly, the weekly ones are cheaper as they come out so often, but in the long run, the consumer is spending around £10 a month instead of spending around £4 a month for one magazine.
The regular contents in a music magazine are photographs of the big stars at the moment and this is in all of the big magazines because they want people to buy them and no one would get them if it was last month’s news. The news in the magazine is normally up-to-date with what is happening in the music world, and it has interviews of famous people in them.
